Microwave Auditory Effect: Uncle Sam Says

Warning of microwavesHeard any voices in your head lately? I know I sure have.

While I’m fairly sure mine are simply the result of the sort of self-willed madness we writers invite upon ourselves in the name of creativity (I’m winning three separate arguments with myself even as I type), your voices could be another result of government interference.

And I’m not talking about the oppressive polity of overly-bored and underly-creative legislators. No, this time I’m talking about the microwave portion of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum. Who knew, but during the cold war the United States government funded research that revealed it was possible to deliver audible clicks and noises directly into the human head via microwaves.

The phenomena has been labeled the microwave auditory effect or the Frey effect, named after the researcher, Allen H. Frey.

Nothing sinister yet, but we all know that everything during the Cold War was most certainly taken to sinister extremes only to be covered up and disavowed by Ronald Reagan (conveniently effected by his own administration’s mind ray).

The official record states that zapping people with communication consisting of more complex words and sentences was not attempted due to requiring unsafe exposure of the human guinea pigs. Well, we all know that is government-ese for “Off the record, we mind-juiced a bunch of inmates something fierce until they thought they was carrying on a conversation with Allah, Jesus and Buddha all three!”

Another shocking developement, but it turns out lots of American citizens (and a gaggle of Soviet ones too) all suspect they were zapped with microwaves during the 70’s and 80’s without their expressed written or implied verbal consent! In my opinion, it goes without saying that they most certainly were. (Government sympathizers blame things like drug-induced freak-outs for all these feelings of paranoia, but we all know drugs during the 70’s were as rare as polyester at an Elvis convention.) And how else could the government try out the more dispersed effect of their crazy ray and make sure that it would work on people who hadn’t already been institutionalized.

Heck, in 1976 Time Magazine even reported on how the Soviets had been busted for beaming microwaves directly at the U.S Embassy building for 15 years. Of course they later claimed it was simply to jam sophisticated electronic equipment (likely story). But we all know the real intent was to bury the latest Bee Gee lyrics so deep into those diplomats’ psyches they’d disco themselves to death (a form of torture tragically overlooked by all four Geneva Conventions).

Anyway, all of this to say, you really shouldn’t listen to the voices in your head. Not because you might be crazy, and the voices might not represent socially acceptable mores. But ultimately, you should ignore those ethereal ramblings because they could be the sinister misleading of Uncle Sam. The next time you hear a little voice telling you to jump start the economy via buying a third bomb shelter or increasing your nuclear arsenal, you just tell them “David Mark Brown says no.” They know where to find me.

  1. Microwave Surveillance techniques have been in use for over half a century.
At the Florida Public Service Commission in Tallahassee, Florida, a Teleconferencing Station centering on a Microwave Transceiver and Parabolic Microwave Transmission Dish is used to create an uplink to a satellite with the beam targeted on a human head allowing Surveillance and Terrorism to be conducted. The returning, downlink, signal is demodulated allowing the sights and sounds of the targeted person’s environment to be presented on screen and recorded. Point the Transmission beam at a human head and watch the show.
On August 21, 1974, Dr. Don R. Justesen, Laboratories of Experimental Neuropsychology, Veterans Administration Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri, presented in a seminar to the faculties of Psychology and Engineering at the University of Utah (Salt Lake City, Utah) “Microwaves and Behavior,” (published in The American Psychologist (Volume 30, March 1975, Number 3)).
In his report, Dr. Justesen shares how Jack Anderson (1972) in his syndicated column in the Washington Post described that during a sweep in the early 1960s, it was discovered that the Soviets were directing, beams of microwave energy at the U.S. Embassy. Chronic exposure to microwave radiation, resulting in neurasthenic syndrome, caused typically reported symptoms of headache, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, moodiness, and nocturnal insomnia.
Dr. Justesen shares: “One of the American pioneers of microwave research was Allan Frey (see, e.g., Frey, 1961, 1965; Frey & Messenger, 1973), a free-lance biophysicist and engineering psychologist. Frey’s major accomplishment was discovery or at least confirmation and dissemination that . . . Human beings can “hear” microwave energy.
Microwave Auditory Effect, a component of Microwave Surveillance techniques, has been in use for over half a century and in December, 2006 was declassified by U.S. Army Intelligence.
(Department of the Army, United States Army Intelligence and Security Command, Freedom of Information/Privacy Office, Investigative Records Repository, (301) 677-2308, Case 614F-06, December 13, 2006)
“Report: Nonlethal Weapons Could Target Brain, Mimic Schizophrenia,” by Sharon Weinberger, Wired Magazine, February 18, 2008, discusses a newly declassified Pentagon report, “Bioeffects of Selected Non-Lethal Weapons,” obtained by a private citizen under the Freedom of Information Act.
As the report notes, “Application of the microwave hearing technology could facilitate a private message transmission. It may be useful to provide a disruptive condition to a person not aware of the technology. Not only might it be disruptive to the sense of hearing, it could be psychologically devastating if one suddenly heard ‘voices within one’s head.”
If voices in your head aren’t disturbing enough, the report also goes on to theorize about a microwave weapon that could use electromagnetic pulses to disrupt the brain’s functioning. It would work through “a rhythmic-activity synchronization of brain neurons that disrupts normal cortical control of the corticospinal and corticobulbar pathways that disrupts normal functioning.
Application of electromagnetic pulses is a conceptual nonlethal technology that uses electromagnetic energy to induce neural synchrony and disruption of voluntary muscle control. From past work in evaluating the potential for electromagnetic pulse generator to affect humans, it is estimated that sufficiently strong internal fields can be generated within the brain to trigger neurons which control muscle and body movements.
In the case of John St. Clair Akwei v. NSA, Mr. Akwei alleges the NSA used it resources, including remote physiological devices, to illegally harass and surveil him for over a decade. Mr. Akwei brought his case before the US District Court in Washington DC in 1992 only to have it dismissed due to the Court being unable to identify any legal cause of action. (No demonstration?) His court statement shares how NSA Signals Intelligence uses EMF Brain Stimulation for Remote Neural Monitoring (RNM) and Electronic Brain Link (EBL). Two-Way Electronic Brain Link has become the ultimate communications system for CIA/NSA personnel. Remote Neural Monitoring (RNM, remotely monitoring bioelectric information in the human brain) has become the ultimate surveillance system.
In November, 2005 The National Institute of Justice issued Requests for Proposals for “Directed Energy Weapons” and “Through the Wall Surveillance,” which infers that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is unaware of the criminal misuse of Microwave Surveillance technology. Please, learn about Microwave Surveillance, Microwave Auditory Effect, Electronarcosis, Neurasthenic Syndrome, and Diathermy and empower the Federal Bureau of Investigation to effectively prosecute this body of criminal behavior.
Why not have a public demonstration of Microwave Auditory Effect leading to a broader demonstration of Microwave Surveillance, so that all United States citizens will know that this technology and all the other capabilities are realities and not science fiction. This is no longer a big government secret!!!
