(Which by the way, is one of the strongholds I believe will survive in many communities as legions of well-armed nerdling warriors barricade the doors and hunker down with their favorite graphic novels.)

While I expect a few good things to happen via apocalypse (ie. a flourishing of “buy local first” and “slow foods” campaigns), I also suspect lots of crappy things could happen as result of global, wholesale Armageddon.
